Been contacted by Gary?
If Gary called or texted you about an unpaid invoice, here's who we are and what it means for you.
Trusted & secure
Your card payments and invoices are handled by the tools you already know.
Who is Gary?
Gary is a friendly voice agent from gogary.co.nz, a New Zealand company. A business you deal with uses Gary to follow up an invoice that hasn't been paid yet — so a person there doesn't have to make the awkward call. Gary only ever gets in touch about a real, overdue invoice from that business's own accounts.
Why did I get a call?
A business you've bought from has an invoice that's past its due date. They've asked Gary to check in politely: did the invoice arrive, and when do you expect to pay? That's all. Gary isn't a debt collector, makes no threats, and never claims you owe more than the invoice says.
How do I pay?
The simplest way is to pay the business the way you normally would. If Gary sent you a link to pay, you can pay by card there, or by bank transfer with no card fee. Either way the money goes to the business — not to us.
I don't think I owe this, or something's wrong
Just say so on the call, or get in touch with the business directly. Gary hands anything like that straight back to them and stops chasing while it's sorted out. It's their invoice, so they're the ones who can put it right.
I don't want to be contacted again
That's completely your call. Ask to be taken off the list and Gary stops for good — we keep that choice on file so it sticks.
What about my information?
Gary only holds what it needs to make the call — your name, your number, and the invoice the business is chasing. Every call says it's recorded before anything else. See how we handle your data.
